Couldn't had paid for better weather!
Let's get these horses clean!
After painting these horses sure needed a good scrub down.
The students planned accordingly and dove right in.
Surprisingly we had no water fights and we stayed dryer than I thought we would :)
The horses came out beautiful!
We learned finishing touches on bathing and spit polish grooming!
These girls worked hard!
On to braiding! One of our resources is a book called Braiding Manes & Tails by Charni Lewis,
seen here: Braiding Manes & Tails
This is a great book and Roux's braid was right off the front cover, a Diamond-Braided Mane.
While the other students learned shorter styles of braiding with Brody's shorter mane.
Both horses had stunning tail braids!
We finished up with a quick wrapping lesson using polo wraps in spectacular colors.
We had to finish up with a grand parade on Bailey Hill!
